Isolated thunderstorms will be possible in some areas through the weekend, otherwise hot conditions will persist through Independence Day.  For the 4th, the best chance for afternoon showers will be in north-central Oklahoma, and then the better chances will shift south into central and southern areas during the evening and overnight hours.
