You can help the many Oklahomans affected by Monday's deadly tornado in Newcastle, SW Oklahoma City and Moore. Tornadoes also struck Carney, Norman and Shawnee on Sunday and those victims also need assistance.

Helping the Animals Many animals have been displaced here's how you can help
(5/23)Little Axe/Newalla has a desperate need for volunteers and specific needs for donations as follows:
Tarps, Clorox wipes, sanitizer, mens clothinng, childrens medicine, sun screen, tools of a wide variety from hammers to tree trimmers, trash bags, gloves, womens hygiene, non perishable food items.
For pets they need cat food, food bowls, pet carriers and flea collars.

(5/23) The Oklahoma Defense Force (OKDF) and The Myrtle Masonic Lodge #145 will be open Friday May 24, 2013 thru Monday May 27, 2013 to accept donations and distribute to families affected by the Tornado.
We ask to not bring any water. We will be taking donations of clothes, personal hygiene, household goods, tools etc… We ask that families coming to obtain needed supplies please bring a list of your needs so that we can help you as efficiently as possible.
The lodge will be hosting a breakfast on Saturday from 7:00am to 9:00am
All proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the community for disaster relief.

Plus-Sized Clothing (other sizes not needed)
Pillows / Bedding / Plastic Pillowcases
(5/22) CARNEY and LUTHER: Volunteers are needed in these areas. Please contact Carney Town Offices at 405-865-2380 and Luther at 405-277-3833 for more information and ways to get involved.
(5/22) The Carney Fire Department, Carney Police Department, Carney City, Carney 1st Assembly of God (clothing), the Carney 1st Baptist Church & Oklahoma Baptist Church Disaster Relief (food, toiletries, laundry) are the ONLY ones that are left in the area assisting.

Governor Mary Fallin, in coordination with the United Way of Central Oklahoma, has established the OK Strong Disaster Relief Fund to assist with the long-term medical, emotional and educational needs of victims of the May 20 tornado in Moore and the May 19 tornado near Shawnee.
United Way of Central Oklahoma’s Disaster Relief Fund—donations may be made online at www.unitedwayokc.org or by mail to United Way of Central Oklahoma, P.O. Box 837, Oklahoma City, OK 73101 with notation for May Tornado Relief.
F&M Bank has established a disaster relief fund for survivors of Tuesday’s tornado.
