30 Under 30
Oklahoma has a new digital magazine called iON Oklahoma. This glossy look at Oklahoma life, food, fun & people just named it's 2nd class of next generation leaders ... what they call 30 under 30... including KSBI's sports reporter Abigail Ogle.
30 under 30 is similar to Leadership Oklahoma, Leadership Oklahoma City, the 40 under 40 class at Okc Biz magazine.
All serve an important purpose. By recognizing individuals who may well become the next generation of Oklahoma Leaders. They teach and encourage young people to engage in civic and charitable causes.
At a time when Rotary, Kiwanis and Lion's memberships have average ages of 50 and
older, these leadershp programs connect generations.
Creativity and innovation are virtues of youth... recognizing and encouraging these virtures are In Oklahoma's best interests.
You can find a full list of the 30 under 30 and see the on line magazine at iONOK.com and over the next several weeks KSBI will also introduce you to each of them on OKlahoma Live....I think you'll be impressed with this class of future Oklahoma Leaders.
For Common Sense, I'm Vince Orza.
