Jeremy Dombek and the Edmond North Huskies found their way to the 6A playoffs a season ago and have the momentum heading into the future for North Football. Dombek said that he feels that his program is to the point where it should see high expectations every season.
Travis Townsend returns as the starting quarterback in this his senior season. Last season he completed 53% of his passes throwing for 1,154 yards and seven touchdowns. However, the Huskies will rely on the ground game with a pair of very good running backs leaving the program.
Jared Benway will take over the rushing duties for the Huskies after averaging a very solid four yards per carry in limited duty for North last season.
North is in a very good 6A-2 district with Lawton, Mustang and Edmond Santa Fe.
