The Oklahoma City Barons are introducing their new mascot, Derrick the mountain lion.
Derrick is an avid fan of sports, and several of Derrick’s relatives have been involved in sports including football, baseball and basketball in places spanning the country including West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado and California.
Although the family isn't new to sports, unlike other members of his family, Derrick found his calling to the sport of ice hockey.
Derrick is excited for the upcoming Barons hockey season in Oklahoma City and he hopes all the fans will come out to support them. He is eager to high five fans and meet all the great people at the games.
