OSU Holds its Pro Day

KSBI News

A day after the scouts were in Norman, they traveled up Interstate 35 to Stillwater to watch several former Cowboys workout in an attempt to make their names good for the NFL draft. The draft of course is Aprill 22nd and one guy with his name high on the board is Russell Okung.

Okung is an offensive tackle and is slated to be the top tackle chosen and potentially a top five pick. Okung impressed during his workou putting a vertical jump in at 32.5 inches. Okung measured six feet five and three quarter inches and weighed 310 pounds showing he is big as well as agile.

Last season's defensive standouts Andre Sexton and Lucion Antoine both participated in the vertical jump test and both did well recording leaps of 33.5 inches. Antoine of course enters the draft as a safety, while Sexton hopes to catch on as a linebacker.

Zac Robinson did not participate in any of the measured drills as he tested well in Indianapolis. However, Robinson did do position drills for the scouts of 27 different NFL teams that were on hand. Robinson is expected to be drafted in the middle rounds.
