The Oklahoma City Thunder won its sixth straight game tonight, third straight on a three game road trip to get its 30th win of the season. The Thunder defeated the depleated Portland Trail Blazers 89-77 inside the Rose Garden.
Normally its the third quarter where the team makes its money, but tonight the Oklahoma City owned the fourth quarter. The Thunder earned the victory in the final 12 minutes of the game outscoring the Blazers 30-16 to get the 12 point victory. The streak started with the Thunder's second unit including James Harden who scored 13 points in the quarter.
Kevin Durant, again, led the way to victory scoring a 33 points and grabbing 11 rebounds just another double double and another game with 25 points are more. Now Durant heads to Dallas to participate in his first all star game and defend his H-O-R-S-E title.
OKC sits at 30-21 on the season and now are in the sixth spot in the Western Conference only a half a game out of the fifth spot and are on track to find themselves in the post season at season's end.
