Thunder Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti announced Friday that the team signed veteran guard Mike Wilks.

The addition of Wilks comes after Sam Presti announced Wednesday that the team waived forward Ryan Bowen.

Bowen appeared in one game this season for the Thunder scoring four points and pulling down two rebounds and one steal in eight minutes of action against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Thunder are back in action Wednesday against Philidelphia at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to tune in to KSBI-Thunder TV's Pre-Game addition starting at 6:00 that night for everything Thunder.

Wilks, a six-year NBA veteran, holds career averages of 2.5 points, 1.2 assists, 1.0 rebound in 229 career NBA contests. He played at Rice University and has also played for eight different NBA teams. Earlier this year he appeared in three preseason games with the Atlanta Hawks.
