Oklahoma City finished a two-game road trip Tuesday in Salt Lake City, taking on the Jazz who's home court has been dubbed as one of the leagues hardest places to play.
The game was tight until the Thunder outscored the Jazz by 15 points in the third quarter to give themselves an 84-68 lead going into the fourth. OKC held on to the lead for final score of 104-94.
This is the Thunders third time to beat one of the leagues best teams, and do it on the road (Spurs and Heat). OKC capitalized on 24 Jazz turnovers with 20 fast break points, and in comparison the Thunder only coughed the ball 16 times.
Kevin Durant led all scorers with 28 points, and he had eight assits. Jeff Green scored 19 points, pulled six rebounds and had his season high five assits. Russell Westbrook and James Harden were the other Thunder players scoring in double-digits with 17 and ten respectively.
The Thunder return home Friday night versus the 8-4 Milwaukee Bucks and Rookie of the Year candidate Brandon Jennings, who is averaging more than 24 points and nearly six assits per game.
