Thunder Falls to Lakers

Oklahoma  City began a two-game road trip in Los Angeles Last night. And the defending champion Lakers handed the Thunder its seventh loss of the season.

OKC only shot 37 percent from the field, and shot a measly 13 percent from three-point land. Another stat that hurt the Thunder were turnovers, of which they commited 19 compared to the Lakers nine.

Serge Ibaka had a career night, recording his first ever double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. OKC's bench scored 40 points; D.J. White led the bench scorers with 12, Ibaka had 11 and James Harden had ten. Nick Collison did not play due to a sore left knee.

Kobe Bryant lead all scorers with 26 points, he also chipped in seven assists and six rebounds. Kevin Durant led the Thunder in scoring with 19, Russell Westbrook was the only other starter scoring in double digits with 14, he also had seven rebounds and seven assists.

The Thunder are back in action Tuesday at 8 p.m. in Utah, then return home Friday to face the 8-3 Milwaukee Bucks.
