Tuesday Thunder guard Shaun Livingston underwent a minor arthroscopic procedure to resolve swelling in his left knee.
Dr. James Andrews and Dr. Bill Clancy performed the procedure that successfully removed a loose anchor from Livingston's left knee. This anchor was placed in his knee during a previous surgery and was believed to be the cause of swelling and discomfort for Livingston.
“Shaun Livingston had successful minor arthroscopic surgery on his left knee,” said Dr. James Andrews. “His knee surfaces and previously repaired ligaments look excellent. He should be back to 100% in a few weeks.”
As of now it is estimated that Livingston will be out 3-4 weeks, but should make a full recovery.
