Thunder Acquire Etan Thomas

The Oklahoma City Thunder made its first big move of the 2009 offseason acquiring Etan Thomas from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Thomas played his high school basketball in Tulsa before attending Syracuse then becoming a journeymen in the NBA. The Thunder also acquired a 2010 second round draft pick and a 2010 conditional second round pick. Of course the Thunder did not pick in the second round this season. In exchange the Minnesota Timberwolves received Chucky Atkins and Damien Watkins from the Thunder. Watkins has spent his entire career with the Thunder/Super Sonics while Atkins was acquired midway through the 2008-2009 season from the Denver Nuggets.
