Durant Helping OKC Kids

KSBI News

Oklahoma City star Kevin Durant is back in Oklahoma City this week hosting a youth basketball camp at Heritage Hall High School teaching fundamentals to the Oklahoma City youth. Durant has been in Austin for much of the summer working on his game.

The camp is designed to teach basketball to kids from ages seven years old all the way up 18. The two age groups have been split into two camps as the younger kids worked on their skills before the lunch hour while the older kids tried to impress the Thunder superstar after the lunch hour.

Durant was there watching the kids play, giving them tips, and even having some fun with friendly competition. However, most of all the kids just enjoyed being around the guy that leads their hometown team in the Ford Center. Kevin Durant was more then happy to give high fives and clown around with the kids.
