NBA Ticket Prices Announced
The thousands of Oklahoma City NBA fans who signed up for season tickets will begin hearing from team officials this week. Emails and phone calls are scheduled to begin over the next few days and plans are underway to schedule Ford Center appointments for fans to select their seats in early September.
Mason To Return To Oklahoma
Oklahoma State University alum and former New Orleans Hornets player Desmond Mason is headed back to OKC. This time to play for Oklahoma's NBA team. Mason was acquired on Wednesday in a three team six player deal.
Horton Takes Ninth in All Around
University of Oklahoma student Jonathan Horton leaving him mark in the Beijing Olympics. Earlier in the week Horton lead USA to a bronze metal in the sport and last night Horton finished in ninth place in the all around competition.
Angels Vs. Mariners
Angels Mark Teixeira homered twice and had 3 RBI's, but Wladimir Balentien hit a 3-run-homerun in the top of the 12th to lift the Mariners over the Angels 10-7. Raul Ibanez went four for five with two RBI's and scored three runs. The win snaps the Angels five game winning streak.
Brewers Vs. Padres
Brewers beat the Padres 7-1 to win their 8th straight game. Prince Fielder hit his 28th homerun of the season. C.C. Sabathia improves to 7-0 since coming over to the Brewers. He pitched seven strong innings striking out eight while allowing just one run.
Whitesox Vs. Royals
Whitesox shut out the Royals 4-0 to remain on top of the AL Central. Ken Griffey helped out the cause with the RBI single.
Play of the Day
