PGA Championship
We'll start in the PGA where a championship is at stake. Garcia and Harrington neck and neck all day long and it comes down to this, if Harrington can sink his par putt, he'd sink Garcia. Par four on the 18th and Harrington does it again. He makes his par putt and wins the PGA Championship.
Tampa Bay Wins 71st Game
Off to the majors where history was made on the baseball diamond Sunday night. Tampa Bay at Seattle, all Rays in this one as Willy Aybar homers not once but twice. Shawn Riggans gets in the action with a three-run homer here and the Rays cruise to a 11-3 win over the Mariners. This was a Tampa Bay best 71st victory of the season setting a new franchise record.
Cards v. Cubs
Ryan Dempster pitched a great game backed by some even better D as you see Edmunds rob Carpenter of what looked to be a nice hit. Cubbies take this one 6-2 with five runs in the 6th inning.
Red Sox at White Sox
Boston Red Sox at Chicago White Sox. Boston trying to secure a win here with Mike Lowell at the plate and the bases loaded, but White Sox come away with a 5,4,3 double play and end the game with a 6-5 win.
D-Backs' Webb Gets 17th Win
Braves at Diamondbacks Brandon Webb getting done on the mound and at the plate for the D-Backs. He leads Zona to 6-1 squash and catches a MLB best 17th win.
RedHawks Struggling vs. Isotopes
The Oklahoma RedHawks keep struggling in Albuquerque with their Sunday night 13-5 loss to the Isotopes. The Hawks are 0-3 in New Mexico. They finish up with the last game of that series tonight.
