Milwaukee Dug-Out Brawl

Tempers flared in the Brewers/Reds game Monday. Unfortunately for Milwaukee, it was all in the Brewers' dugout. Here in the bottom of the 7th first baseman Prince Fielder goes after starting pitcher Manny Parra. Fielder got a few shoves in before he was restrained by teammates. No word on what started the altercation. Cincinnati won the game, six to three.

Blue Jays Beat A's

Ray Halladay pitched eight strong innings striking out eight and allowing one run, as the Blue Jays beat the A's 6-1. The loss was Oakland's 7th straight. They're now a major-league worst 2-14 since the all-star break.

Indians Beat Tampa

David Dellucci hit his 100th career homer and Cliff Lee got his 15th win of the year an the Indians beat Tampa 5-2. With the win the tribe put an end to the Ray's five game winning streak. Cleveland is now 5-0 against the AL-East leading Ray's this season.

Johnson Might Play in Pre-Season Game

In NFL news, out-spoken Cincinnati wide-receiver Chad Johnson is back in action. Johnson, who had sat out the first week of camp with a sore ankle, got in his first full day of drills in at Bengals camp on Monday. The five time pro bowler had arthroscopic surgery in mid-June, but team officials say it's possible that he could play in Cincy's first pre-season game next Monday.

Favre Saga Continues

The much anticipated Packers press conference with Brett Favre Monday night went like this.

"Coach McCarthy and Brett Favre began their meeting tonight right around 6:00 their still talking," said public relations director Jeff Blumb. "I don't know how much longer its going to go. What does it mean? it just means they're still talking."

So if you are not already sick of the Brett Favre saga, there is still more to come.

Play of the Day

Indians at Rays. Top 1st, 0-0 man on 1st for the Indians' David Dellucci who hits one up the middle, but the Rays' Willy Aybar makes the nice play to turn the double play. Take another look as Aybar was moving to cover 2nd on an attempted steal, but he moves right into position for a double play, and he steals our play of the day.
