Sparky Takes Over Yard Dawgz
The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz are discussing more than their Saturday night loss to the Arkansas Twisters 68-25. The Yard Dawgz are now busy welcoming a new head coach.
"Effectively immediately, I'm stepping down as the head coach of the football team," said former head coach Gary Reasons. "Coach Sparky McEwen who I brought in here last week, he will assume duties of the head coach."
"This is tough," said McEwen. "I received a call from Gary in 2004 to come down and help them and we built a very very solid working relationship and we've make contact over the past three years."
Charles “Sparky” McEwen returns to the Yard Dawgz taking over the team's now 1-5 record. Previous head coach, Gary Reasons will remain as the Yard Dawgz president.
