The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgs were in Amarillo taking on the Dusters this weekend. The Yard Dawgz fell short in this one 58-21. The Dawgz now fall to 1-4 on the season.

NBA Playoffs

More action from the NBA taking place yesterday. It took seven games but the Boston Celtics finally finished off the surprising Atlanta Hawks 99-65 to advance to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. Kevin Garnett had 18 points and 11 rebounds and Paul Pierce added 22. With Atlanta down by 23 in the third quarter Marvin Williams fouled Rajon Rondo hard on the lay up attempt. Williams was called for the flagrant foul and ejected. Rondo was okay and the Celtics cruised to the easy win holding the Hawks to just twenty-nine percent from the field. Next up for Boston is the defending eastern conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Jazz Lakers series got underway and it was Kobe Bryant leading Los Angeles to the 109-98 win. Bryant scored a game high 38 points and Pau Gasol added a double-double; 18 points with 10 rebounds. The Lakers improved to 5-0 this post season. The last time LA won the first five games in the playoffs was in 1989 when they won their first eleven postseason games which sent them on to win the title.

Play of the Day

Adam Scott, chipping from the rough for his 3rd shot on the par five. The ball moves fast, but it goes right into the cup for eagle. Great shot by Scott who comes away with our play of the day!
