Schultz Sues for Seattle
The drama continues for the Seattle SuperSonics. Former owner Howard Schultz filed a lawsuit late Tuesday in federal court in Seattle against the Oklahoma based owners of the team. Schultz says he was lied to during the sale of the team in 2006.
Long to Miami
The Miami Dolphins are no longer on the clock with the first pick this year's NFL draft selecting and signing Michigan left tackle Jake Long to a five year, 57-million dollar contract including 30 million in guaranteed money. Miami now avoids any possible holdout by their number one pick, while making the former Michigan Wolverine the highest paid lineman in the league.
Hornets Outlast Mavs
In the NBA, Chris Paul scored 32-points and had a franchise playoff record 17-assists, as the Hornets crushed the Mavericks 127-103 Tuesday night. David West scored 27 points and Peja Stojakovic added 22, as New Orleans takes a 2-0 lead in their opening round series with Dallas.
