There are a handful of viewers who experience interference on COX
channel 9 while trying to view KSBI.
KSBI-TV is a 3 million watt full-power station and should not
have a degraded channel on any cable outlet in the market.
COX channel 9, in some local homes, experiences interference from
another local television station. According to COX
Communications, this problem has nothing to do with KSBI's
signal, but rather loose, old, or bad connections at the
individual home and can be remedied by a COX technician
(according to COX communications).
COX Communications has requested that KSBI send them names and
numbers of any viewer not receiving a clear signal on COX channel
9. They are sending technicians out at no cost to the customer
to fix this issue.
KSBI has a clear signal which reaches almost the entire state of
Oklahoma. There are no issues which we know of on any other
cable outlet across the state, or on Dish and Direct TV.
If you are experiencing interference on your television set while
watching COX channel 9, please email us (info@ksbitv.com) your
name and phone number as appears on the COX bill, or phone us at
(405)631-7335 ext 114 and we here at KSBI will send your
information to COX.
Additionally, if you would like to see KSBI-DT on your digital
cable line up, please call COX and request this improvement to
their line up. We have many viewers who call on a daily basis
and inquire as to why KSBI's digital channel 51 is not available
on the COX digital line up. We have asked that same question
many times. KSBI has, and continues, to request to be added to
the COX digital line up. KSBI averages over 13 hours a day of
true 1080-i high definition programming including sporting
events, travel programs, and more. KSBI was and still is the
leader in the market in the realm of numbers of hours per day of
TRUE high definition programming.
