A new C-NBC report ranks Oklahoma #1 in cost of living and 3rd in cost of doing business.
The State Chamber of Commerce says those are great numbers but there is still room for improvement. Officials say overall the state ranked 25th. That shows Oklahoma needs to improve in areas like education, technology, and providing health insurance to workers.
"We have one of the largest percentages of uninsured workers for health insurance in the country. That really impacts your overall quality of life issue," said Mike Seney with the State Chamber.
Authorities say the legislature should use this report to create incentives to attract new businesses.
