Norman, OK-- The man, who opened fire near Lake Thunderbird last Wednesday and left one person wounded, is now behind bars.
Police say 20-year-old David Duncan was arrested Friday and is facing charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Authorities say Duncan shot 27-year-old Randy Hayes, who was seen wounded near Lakeview Elementary. As a result the school was put on alert.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of multiple bullet wounds. Reportedly the victim told police that Duncan was involved in the shooting.
