OKLAHOMA CITY-- CEO's and community leaders met at the Governer's mansion Wednesday morning to launch a new early childhood initiative.
The Oklahoma Champions for Early Opportunities also known as OKCEO's, includes over thirty Oklahoma business and community leaders who are advocating for greater investment in early childhood in order to promote a better workforce.
"If we invest in early childhood we can improve our economic climate in Oklahoma and we won't loose as many people as we do to remediation and incarceration," said Pat Potts, Potts Family Foundation President.
The OKCEO's believe this initiative could help Oklahoma compete in the national and global economy.
The launch was a collaberative effort of the Oklahoma Business Roundtable, Smart Start Oklahoma and Potts Family Foundation.
