A preliminary report has been released for the medical helicopter crash near Kingfisher.
The National Transportation Safety Board indicates that the EagleMed helicopter was destroyed upon impact and a post-crash fire ensued.
A witness saw the helicopter fly through a sparse tree line. The last position report was given about 6 minutes before the crash, when the helicopter was at 1,500 feet.
The crash killed pilot Al Harrison and nurse Ryan Duke, and injured Michael Eccard, while they were on their way to a medical call.
