Local doctors leave to help a country half a world away.
A team of six physicians and five nurses from Integris are on their way to Nigeria. They will spend 10 days managing a medical clinic that will treat men, women and children in two Nigerian towns. They say it's a great experience.
"The gratification was overwhelming. We met people, we made friends, and I think we made a difference in the lives of these patients," said Johnny Griggs, trip team leader.
This is the second year Integris has sent doctors to Africa to help.
