Former President Clinton to Receive Award

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Former President Bill Clinton is being honored for his work in helping Oklahoma City recover from the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum will honor Clinton with the Reflections of Hope Award. Clinton will be honored at a reception and a dinner on April 21, two days after the nation marks the 15th anniversary of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

Clinton is the founder of the William J. Clinton Foundation, which focuses on worldwide issues that demand urgent actions and solutions. The Foundation's mission is to strengthen the capacity of people in the U.S. and around the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence.

Among other things, the Clinton Foundation works to fight climate change and expand economic opportunity.
