New details tonight about the man who set the mother of his children on fire.
George Rodriguez, 34, was in court today and reportedly told police that he set fire to his estranged wife.
Laura Miller remains in critical condition with 3rd degree burns on her neck and chest. The couple have 3 children together, two of which witnessed their mother on fire.
Rodriguez has been previously convicted of assaulting a police officer.
Family members say it has been difficult to deal with what happened.
"It's very hard. I break into tears every time I see her. It's something you can't get used to," said Joe Beal, Miller's nephew.
Rodriguez is being held on more than $40,000 dollars bond.
