If you're one of those people who try to multitask behind the wheel, you are being targeted.
Lawmakers are working on a bill that would ban reading and sending text messages from your cellphone while driving.
Personal grooming, interacting with pets, and even eating will also be considered distracted driving under this bill.
"This is unsafe behavior. You need to limit distractions, keep your mind on the road, and save your life if you do," said Chuck Mai, Triple A Spokesperson.
Someone found guilty of distracted driving could be fined up to 100 dollars.
