An Oklahoma City woman is recovering from third degree burns. Police said the father of her children allegedly doused her with gasoline and set her on fire.
It happened yesterday afternoon at her home near S.E. 47th and Bryant. Police also said 34-year-old George Rodriguez set fire to the woman's house, while her 3, 7 and 10-year-old children were inside.
After it happened, the mother ran next door begging for help.
"Laura and her three children came to my front door and they ere yelling help me, help me. 4:59 and I came out of the kitchen and I realized that she said my husband burned me, set me on fire," said neighbor Ann Coulter.
Rodriguez was arrested and now faces several charges, including arson and domestic abuse. He's being held without bond.
