OKC Man Arrested for Weekend Homicide

KSBI News

Oklahoma City -- A 70-year-old Oklahoma City man faces first degree murder charges.

Police responded to a shooting at a home in the 3000 block of N.E. 15th Street early Sunday morning. When they arrived, they found Virginia Moore, 54, shot to death.

Investigators aren't sure what happened in the moments before the shooting, they just say they know that Edgar Combs is the main suspect.

"We don't know what lead up to her being shot," says Master Sgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department. "We don't know if there was an altercation or what. But we do know that, for whatever reason, Edgar shot her."

Knight says they don't expect anymore arrests to be made in this case.
