Much of eastern Oklahoma is under a storm warning until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Forecasters say up to 6 inches of snow could accumulate from central through east-central Oklahoma before the winter storm moves out of the state.
Heavy snow was falling in northwestern Oklahoma Monday morning, however, much of the snow that fell statewide has melted due to temperatures remaining above freezing. Click here to view the latest road conditions reported by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol via KSBI-TV's weather page.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says roadways are mostly wet, but they caution drivers to watch out for slick spots on bridges and overpasses as temperatures drop overnight.
