Woman Arrested for Prostitution, Drug Trafficking

KSBI News

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Cleveland County prosecutors have charged a Del City woman for allegedly operating a prostitution ring out of a Norman massage parlor.

The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control said Thursday that Sun Aldrich was taken into custody on complaints of solicitation of prostitution within 1,000 feet of a school. She faces two felony counts.

Narcotics bureau spokesman Mark Woodward alleged that a prostitution and cocaine trafficking ring was operating out of Oriental Tokyo Health Massage.

Woodward alleged that Aldrich used wire transfers to send thousands of dollars in illegal proceeds across the country and abroad.

According to the Oklahoma State Courts Network, Aldrich was released on $25,000 bond on the condition that she be subject to supervision by electronic monitoring.
