A family is speaking out tonight after a mother is shot dead in her own driveway. Police were called to the shooting Saturday night near Northwest 88th and Walker Avenue. An argument took place, and one man fired shots. Roberta Hill was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound where she later died. Hill's family says she didn't deserve this, and that the argument may have been racially charged.
Lindsey Castle, Roberta Hill's Daughter-in-Law said, "You white people are in the wrong neighborhood, that's what they said. She was a good person, she was a good mom, good grandma. She really didn't have anyone that dislike her, nothing. she didn't deserve what happened to her." :20"
Police did talk to neighbors to gather clues. If you have any information call Crimestoppers at 235-7300.
