Oklahoma City -- A beef recall is still impacting thousands of people nationwide.
The recall was expanded this week to include a total of more than 421,000 pounds of beef.
The product was made by Colorado based JBS Beef Company.
The recall was announced because of possible E. Coli contamination.
A representative from the Oklahoma Beef Council says Oklahomans can grill out without worry this weekend.
"We've done some checking, we haven't seen anything, we haven't heard of anything. There's about 13 states that have been impacted but none were Oklahoma," says Heather Buckmaster, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Beef Council.
U.S. officials believe at least 24 illnesses could be linked to the beef.
