Sketch of Rape Suspect Released

KSBI News

Detectives have released a new sketch they hope leads to the man who raped an 81-year-old woman.

A man broke into the woman's home in the 4800 block of S. Lee on Sunday morning.

The victim says she was sleeping in her bedroom when she looked up and saw him standing in her doorway.

Police say the man physically and sexually assaulted the woman.

The suspect is described as a 35-year-old Hispanic male, 6'0'', 170 pounds.

Police believe he may have been familiar with the neighborhood.

"Investigators did speak with numerous individuals who live in this area.  It's a possibility that this individual has been going door to door asking for odd jobs for employment," says Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow with the Oklahoma City Police Department.

Call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300 if you have any information on this case.
