Oklahoma City -- Officials at the Oklahoma County Jail have spent the last several months making improvements and they believe they've made big strides.
A Department of Justice report resulted in 160 federal inmates being moved out of the jail in August. Jack Herrom, Jail Administrator for the Oklahoma County Jail says they've since addressed several issues.
Herrom says they've corrected the locking problem, installed additional security cameras, they've stepped up sanitation efforts and increased staffing.
Herrom says they're now waiting for the findings of the advisory committee Sheriff John Whetsel put together.
"We went through the DOJ report line by line. I'm waiting for the committee to finalize their results and I'm extremely anxious for the DOJ to come back and we can show them the progress we've made," says Herrom.
Herrom says the Department of Justice could revisit at anytime.
