With this exciting announcement today we went straight to the OSU alum Desmond Mason to see how he felt about the many Thunder games that will be broadcast right here on KSBI in the majority of the state.
"I think it's a win a win for everyone," said Thunder player Desmond Mason.
Mason says he is thrilled to have the Thunder games broadcasted locally because at the end of the day, it's all about the fans.
"I think that's good. We always want to reach out to the fans and I think deals like that being struck in Oklahoma City will only benefit everybody," said Mason.
Head coach P.J. Carlesimo says this new partnership between KSBI and Thunder basketball will help get this team the coverage they want statewide.
"I think the exposure is going to be good, and we are delighted to have you as our partner," said Head coach, P.J. Carlesimo.
So just like that KSBI-TV will become Thunder TV, a place where fans can always be a part of the game.
"It's a good thing for the players and their families and the coaches and their families. When we're on the road and people can't get to the games they'll be able to see it," said Carlesimo.
