Oklahoma City -- You may not look at wedding dresses the same way after this weekend.
Co-Founder of Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation, Fran Hansen, looks at the hundreds of gowns available for sale and she sees dreams coming true.
The foundation grants wishes to terminal breast cancer patients. The Portland, Oregon based organization travels the country selling designer gowns to raise money to help grant wishes.
You can find new and used dresses, sizes two to 44. The gowns are 50 to 80 percent off, they start at $99.
"We put a little pink ribbon right inside when they purchase the dress and so when they're slipping into their wedding gown on their wedding day, they'll see that pink ribbon and remember that they helped make a difference in someone's life and that their purchase went actually to enable Making Memories to make wishes and dreams come true," says Hansen.
The sale started Friday and continues Saturday, August 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The group accepts new and used gowns. Click on the link below for volunteer information or to find out how you can donate your gown.
