It all started when Oklahoma City Police got a call from some farmers.  They were out to check on their cattle when they came across the body of a 20-year-old.  He was badly beaten and shot.

Brandon Mitchell was robbed and dumped in his boxers on North Douglas Road.  He was bleeding and suffered severe head trauma.

Four days passed and police would finally get some answers when the suspects decided to brag about their crime.

Detective Joe Sterling with the Del City Police says his agency responded to a call of shots fired on Friday.  When they arrived they also came across a stolen car.  They detained several people for questioning, one had a handgun.

"One of the females said she wanted to tell us what was going on," says Sterling.

She told police that three of the men in the house were talking about a shooting from earlier in the week.

Del City Police called Oklahoma City Police.  Oklahoma City Police arrested 24-year-old Darrell Ellison and a 15-year-old and charged them with robbery.  The teen was also charged with shooting with intent to kill.

Police say they are still looking for a third person, who is the main person involved in the shooting on Douglas Blvd.  The suspect managed to escape from police in Del City.

"It was just a time of opportunity for him, he was just waiting," says Sterling.

A Del City Police Officer left the police vehicle for just a minute and the man managed to get out, even with handcuffs on.

Oklahoma City Police are not confirming a suspect.  Del City Police say the man who escaped is known as Deon Dunn.  Dunn is described as a black male, 6'1, 175 lbs. with a beard and mustache.  He also has Dunn tattooed on his side. Police say he could be armed and dangerous.

If you have any information that could help police please call Crimestoppers at 235-7300.

As for the victim, Brandon Mitchell, he is still at OU Medical Center.  At last check, he was in critical condition.
