MySpace.com will now distribute online amber alerts to members.
The alerts will notify them of missing children in their area.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is pairing with MySpace to distribute the missing child alerts.
The online alerts, which are triggered by law-enforcement officials, will begin today. The alerts will be sent to all users in the ZIP codes where the amber alert was issued.
A small box at the top of a user's screen will contain vital information. The user can click on the box for a photo of the missing child and a description of the suspect.
