The NFL has named the Teacher of the Year.
The honor went to an Oklahoma music teacher. Charlotte Gagliardi, who recently retired from Lawton High School, was given the honor.
Along with the title she won a trip to Hawaii for the NFL Pro Bowl.
Current Kansas City Chiefs player Will Shields nominated Gagliardi for the award.
Shield is a former student of Gagliardi. He says she helped him by letting him live with her when his father was sent overseas for military service.
Gagliardi also received $2,500 cash.
