Monica Price
Monica Price, originally from Spring, Texas (a suburb of Houston), feels right at home in Oklahoma! In fact, she and her husband have family in the area. She says she loves that Oklahomans are so welcoming and friendly...it’s what attracted her to the state.
Prior to KSBI-TV, Monica worked as an Anchor/Reporter in Wichita. Monica has also worked for news stations on the beautiful Central Coast of California and in Louisiana (where she says the food is to die for). Additionally, Monica was a journalist in the Lone Star state.
A graduate from the University of Houston, Monica holds a bachelor's degree in radio/television and a minor in marketing. During her time at U of H she served as student body president, president of Chi Omega, and was a varsity cheerleader.
In her spare time, she enjoys getting involved in the community and with her church. She also enjoys visiting her family back in Texas especially her adorable 6-year-old nephew. Monica spends A LOT of time at family functions, as her husband is the youngest of 12 children. She describes herself as an “outdoorsy” person as she and her husband enjoy hiking, biking, and going to the lake.
