Kealey McIntire

Kealey began her professional broadcast career in 2002. She left her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa for the flatlands of West Texas where she spent nearly four years before accepting the anchor position at KSBI-TV.

Kealey enjoys the variety KSBI-TV offers. She reports, anchors Oklahoma News Tonight, and co-hosts the station's award-winning High School Football Tailgate Show.

Kealey was born and raised in Des Moines. No, she didn't grow up on a farm, nor does she like corn, one of Iowa's major agricultural products.

Kealey fell in love with broadcasting in high school. A local radio station gave teenagers free reign at the airwaves on Sunday afternoons. She and a friend did this and the rest is history. Kealey's first passion was radio. She co-hosted a weekly radio show on the public school system's radio station for nearly two years.

She began to expand her broadcast career at Grand View College, where she also hosted a weekly radio show. She made the transition to TV after her junior year in college. Kealey devoted an entire summer learning the in's and out's of TV news at a local television station. Since graduating in 2002, Kealey has worked at TV stations in Dubuque, Iowa, Midland, Texas, and Lubbock, Texas.

Outside of KSBI-TV, Kealey leads an active lifestyle. She enjoys exercising and has taught cardio-kickboxing. She's a NPC figure competitor.

Kealey graduated from Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa with a Radio/ TV degree. She was also part of the Lady Viking's Basketball team. She accepts the fact she's getting old(er), and no longer professes to be a "good" basketball player!

Kealey was married in 2007. She and her husband live in Oklahoma City.
